Unitarians have a complicated relationship with the word “faith.” We are generally opposed to “blind" faith, or the kind that justifies hurting others in the name of righteousness. But in this talk I’ll describe two kinds of faith I find in myself, and share some suggestions on how to keep them from going bad.

Bruce discusses how the UU-UNO is working for a safer planet by disarmament efforts which began with the NGO Committee on Disarmament, Peace and Security founded by UU Rev. Homer Jack in 1970 and which remains under UU-UNO leadership. He also talks about the threats posed by nuclear weapons and conventional weapons, including small arms and drones. Everyone, everywhere deserves a safe and dignified life.
